Go for Gas

When creating Texas home plans and working with Texas custom home builders, you have a lot of decisions to make. Try not to let yourself get too overwhelmed, and don’t be so caught up in the major choices that you forget to give some real thought to the little details, such as what type of cooking range you wish to have in your kitchen. While the choice is, of course, up to you, many people prefer gas stoves and ovens and for a variety of reasons.

A gas stovetop range, for example, is instantly ready to boil water or heat food. You don’t have to wait for it to heat up gradually, as you do with an electric range. Instead, you just turn the heat right on and crank it up (or down) to exactly where you need it be.

As you make and finalize your Texas home plans, give gas a chance; many people won’t cook with anything but gas.
