Most homes will feature one bedroom that’s bigger and better
than all the rest, referred to as the master bedroom. If you work closely with
your custom home builders and are clear
about exactly what you want and don’t want in a master bedroom, you can end up
with a room that’s truly fit for a king (or queen!).
If you make your master bedroom large enough, it can be more
than just a bedroom. You could, for example, add in a nice little lounging
area, complete with cozy seating and maybe even a television. And, of course, you’ll want to
add in a nice, private bathroom—one you don’t have to share with the kids!
Large, roomy closets are a must as well, and you can always add in any personal
touches you need to make your bedroom perfect for you.
