Pets and Construction Sites Don’t Mix!

Whether you’re building custom homes or remodeling already existing homes, it’s important to understand that pets and construction sites simply don’t mix! If you’re going to be living at the construction site while your home builders do their work, it’s a good idea to keep pets in an area very separated from the site of construction or, even better yet, to find a temporary place for your furry friend to stay. Not only can pets prove distracting (and even scary!) to some workers, which can lead to less productivity and slower build or remodeling time for you, but your pets themselves can also be in harm’s way.

Even if the builders of custom homes are as careful as they possibly can be, the fact remains that objects fall, pets get underfoot, and that many construction materials are hazardous if chewed or ingested by pets. To be on the safe side, just keep those pets from away from construction sites, no matter how minor or major the job.
